These earrings were  once real acorns cups found in the ancient Hampshire woodland before being caste into recycled 925 silver
 
Like a whispered little message to the wearer of their symbolism of strength and potential, the acorn is a symbol of strength and potential.  The acorn was also a Nordic and Celtic symbol of fertility, and immortality. Druids believed the consumption of an acorn would help them see the future.The word Druid can be translated as 'Oak Knowledge'.
