About the Event


In this inspiring full-day workshop, you’ll create your own beautifully detailed Cornish bee pendant using the magic of silver clay and the ancient art of Keum Boo.


There’s something special about Cornish bees. Darker, bolder, and a little more rugged, they seem to belong to the wild edges of the coast — shaped by sea air, salt winds, and open landscapes. In this workshop, you’ll echo that spirit in your piece, sculpting a bee with a strong, characterful presence.


Guided step by step, you’ll learn how to hand sculpt your bee from silver clay, shaping its delicate form and adding texture to the wings and body to bring it to life. Once fired into solid silver, your piece will be refined and prepared for its final, golden detail.


Using the traditional Korean technique of Keum Boo, you’ll apply rich 24ct gold to your bee’s stripes. Through heat and gentle pressure,…
