SILVER JEWELLERY MAKING FOR HEN PARTIES AND CELEBRATIONS

If you're planning a hen party in Hampshire, consider a jewellery making workshop ! The ideal alternative hen party idea, this jewellery making class in Southampton or your own venue in Hampshire will show you how you can use silver clay to make some beautiful jewellery in the comfort of your own home.

Hosted by Rebecca, a talented local crafter, you'll learn each step for creating amazing jewellery out of fine silver clay. As the name suggests, silver clay is able to be moulded just like modelling clay, making this a quick craft to pick up for beginners.

Kicking things off with some expert demonstrations of the whole process —  you'll then get hands-on as you mould, shape, file and sand your clay into any shape or design you can think of. It'll then be fired and ready for a final polish before wearing with pride.

Whether you want to create pieces that express each hen's personality or make some matching jewellery to wear on the big day itself, you'll love learning the fundamentals of jewellery craft in a fun, relaxing environment. Your memories will be forever captured in the beautiful jewellery you create and take away with you.  Combine your two favourite things; beautiful silver jewellery and bubbles!

including all equipment and materials plus 1/2 bottle of prosecco per person to toast your successful day.

Create an unforgettable experience for the bride to be and her hens with a beginners' silver clay jewellery making workshop with your treasured memories forever captured in the beautiful jewellery that you create!

You will each make a beautiful silver pendant necklace or earrings from silver clay.  My beginners workshop is perfect for complete beginners to jewellery making and is great fun for the group. I also offer a Sea Glass pendant workshop which is a full day workshop.  This is a little more advanced but also suitable for beginners in groups with less than 4 people. Spend a day together enjoying the experience and take home a piece of handmade jewellery to treasure forever – you will be making memories which last a lifetime!

How it works

If you have an appropriate house or other venue then I can travel to you. I cover Hampshire, Surrey, parts of Dorset and the Isle of Wight (at an extra cost).  Parties hosted in the comfort of your home have a maximum number of 8 participants. All you need is a table or tables big enough for each person to comfortably work at, and an area suitable for firing the pieces. We use small kitchen blow torches, so a kitchen surface is usually fine. Alternatively you can come to my garden studio where I can accommodate up to 5 participants.

All equipment and materials are provided to make your jewellery as well as ½ bottle of prosecco per person so you can sit back and simply enjoy the celebration. Non-alcoholic options can also be arranged so everyone can enjoy the event.

So whatever your skill level this workshop is ideal, we know you'll have fun.
