Birthday parties are available for accompanied children aged 10 and over with a ratio of at least one adult per two children.  Choose from a sea shell jewellery making party or a keepsake fingerprint jewellery making party.

Children will learn each step for creating amazing jewellery out of silver clay. As the name suggests, silver clay is able to be moulded just like modelling clay, (but when fired becomes fine silver) making this a great craft for beginners and children alike.

You can choose whether you would all like everyone to make either shell pendants or fingerprint pendant keepsake necklaces.  This needs to be agreed in advance and Rebecca can advise on which class would be best for your children dependant on age.

All materials are included (7g silver clay and a neck cord or a stainless steel keyring fixing).  Sterling silver chains are available priced £10 each.  Please note that the children will watch their piece being fired but due to health and safety will not be allowed to fire the piece themselves using a torch.

I will travel to you (within 20 miles of Southampton)

Price for a half day (3 hours):

£75 per child age 10 or over accompanied by an adult (ratio of one adult to up to two children)

Minimum numbers: 2 children plus adults

Maximum numbers: 5 children plus adults

How it works

If you have an appropriate house or other venue then I can travel to you. I cover Hampshire, Surrey, parts of Dorset and the Isle of Wight (at an extra cost).  Parties hosted in the comfort of either my dining room or the comfort your home and have a maximum number of 5 children plus accompanied adults. All you need is a table or tables big enough for each person to comfortably work at, and an area suitable for firing the pieces. The pieces will be fired with a blow torch by the tutor while the children watch, so a kitchen surface is usually fine for this.

All equipment and materials are provided to make your jewellery.
