This tiny acorn mould is a perfect complement to my Starter Silver Clay Kit. If you already have the starter kit, this mould allows you to expand your practice with a new, nature-inspired project. Using the skills you’ve learned, you can create a delicate flat-backed acorn pendant on your own. It’s also ideal for makers who want to experiment with silver clay, polymer clay, resin, or sugar craft without committing to a full kit.
 
Tiny acorns small enough for jewellery making are incredibly hard to find. After hunting high and low across the UK, I eventually discovered the perfect miniature acorn and carefully preserved it by making this mould.

This silicone rubber mould has been taken from a real acorn collected from woodland in Cornwall, capturing all the natural texture and detail in miniature form. It’s ideal for creating delicate, woodland-inspired pieces.

The original acorn measures approximately 1–1.5 cm in length and 0.75–1 cm wide. The mould itself is around 5 mm at its deepest point and has been designed to help you create a flat-backed acorn, making it especially suitable for jewellery making.

Each mould is individually handmade, so your mould may vary slightly from the photos. However, the same acorn is used every time, and all the intricate detail and texture will be faithfully reproduced.
