This kit is designed specifically to help you create a flat-backed silver acorn pendant, making it suitable for beginners working independently at home. The kit pairs perfectly with my Starter Silver Clay Kit and was created as a natural next step for those wanting a guided project using the techniques learned there. It’s also suitable as a standalone kit, with everything included to complete a flat-backed acorn pendant from start to finish.
 
Tiny acorns small enough for jewellery making are incredibly rare. After years of searching woodland across the UK, I found the perfect miniature acorn and carefully captured it in a handmade mould. This kit combines that mould with professional materials and clear, step-by-step guidance so you can confidently complete a beautiful finished piece.
The mould is taken from a real acorn collected from woodland in Cornwall, preserving all the natural texture and character of the original.
 
Important note about design
This kit is for making a flat-backed acorn, not a fully three-dimensional acorn.
I do teach 3D acorn making in my in-person workshops, however it is a more advanced technique that requires close guidance. The flat-backed method included in this kit is intentionally designed to be achievable for beginners, using written instructions and without prior silver clay experience.
