"Great oaks from little acorns grow.”
A traditional proverb
A little acorn carries within it the potential to become a mighty oak, making it a beautiful symbol of strength, growth and new beginnings.
This necklace brings together two treasures from the British woodland: a beautifully detailed oak leaf in recycled sterling silver and a little acorn, cast from a real acorn and finished in warm gold.
Worn together, the acorn and oak leaf tell the story of possibility — a quiet reminder of how something small can grow into something extraordinary. A meaningful piece to wear through times of change, to mark a new chapter, or simply as a reminder of your own strength and potential.
Both pieces began with nature. The acorn is a solid replica cast from a real acorn in recycled sterling silver, while the oak leaf captures the delicate texture and character of the original leaf. The acorn is then gold plated, creating a beautiful contrast against the silver oak leaf.
The necklace comes on an 18-inch sterling silver curb chain, with the option to upgrade to a 20-inch chain. The acorn measures approximately 1cm long x 0.7cm wide, and the oak leaf approximately 2cm long x 1cm wide.
Presented in a Rebecca Oxenham Jewellery gift box, it makes a particularly thoughtful gift for a birthday, graduation, new job, new beginning or someone embarking on the next chapter of their life.
Inspired by the symbolism and spirituality found in nature, Rebecca Oxenham Jewellery is created with sustainability in mind. Rebecca uses recycled silver wherever possible, FSC-certified or recycled packaging.
