In my experience, Art Clay Silver is a premium metal clay and one of the most beginner-friendly options available. Its relatively low shrinkage rate of approximately 11% helps reduce the risk of distortion and warping associated with higher-shrinkage clays, such as Project X and Prometheus. Suitable pieces can also be fired successfully on a gas hob or with a torch, as well as in a kiln, making it a particularly accessible and versatile choice.
