Starfish Pendant – Recycled Sterling Silver

Starfish carry a quiet kind of magic. Through stormy tides and shifting seas, they endure, with an extraordinary ability to regenerate and begin again. They are beautiful symbols of resilience, healing and inner strength — a gentle reminder that even after life's most challenging seasons, we can grow and flourish once more.
Inspired by the wild beauty of the Cornish coastline, this sculptural starfish pendant is more than a piece of jewellery. It is a little talisman to treasure, celebrating the strength within us and the beauty of new beginnings.
Cast from a real starfish in recycled sterling silver, every delicate texture and intricate detail has been faithfully captured on both sides. Its beautifully tactile surface catches the light, reflecting the organic shapes and textures of treasures discovered along the shoreline.
The pendant is suspended from an elegant 18-inch sterling silver satellite chain, whose delicate silver beads add a subtle shimmer, reminiscent of sunlight dancing across the sea.
 
Measuring approximately 30mm across, this is the larger of my two starfish pendants, designed to make a quietly elegant statement. A smaller, more delicate 15mm version is also available.
 
Created in my Cornish studio, Rebecca Oxenham Jewellery celebrates the beauty, textures and symbolism of the natural world. With sustainability at its heart, each piece is thoughtfully made using recycled silver wherever possible.
