The fern dates back to prehistoric times and unlike most plants it has no seed. The fern was once used to ward off witches and evil spirits. Shepherds in Brittany and Normandy created crosses out of ferns to protect themselves and their flock. It is also a symbol for longevity, new beginnings, humility and welcomes good luck.

Like a whispered little message, when worn the fern acts as an amulet for good fortune, luck and protection.

These replica fern leaf earrings were made from real pieces of ferns.  The drop is approx 4 cm.  (the fern leaf is approx 3 cm). The come with a beautiful intention notelet explaining thier symbolism.
